If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:19
Soon after The
Repentance:
“To feel or express sincere regret or remorse about one’s wrongdoing or sin”.
Every time I thought about a sin I knew I committed, I confessed and I repented and asked the Lord to forgive me. This is when I learned the meaning, the true meaning of repentanc; “To feel or express sincere regret or remorse about one’s wrongdoing or sin”.
Romans 10:10
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
When I realized I had transgressed or offended God with the sin I committed, I confessed my sins to Him and repented. For the first time ever, I started feeling sorry for the sin I committed.
I committed adultery, I lied, I schemed, I defiled the body God gave me, I thought to do evil and I did evil things. When I came to grips with how I was behaving and God was recording every evil deed and every idle word I spoke, I became so sorry for what I did and vowed not to willfully sin again.
I am so glad I confessed and repented. Now I’m living a liberated life through Jesus, my best friend. I’ve been set free.
