Don’t be misled: No one makes a fool of God. What a person plants he will harvest. The person who plants selfishness, ignoring the needs of others-ignoring God! – harvests a crop of weeds. All he’ll have to show for his life is weeds! But the one who plants in response to God, letting God’s Spirit do the growth work in him, harvests a crop of real life, tern always life.Galatians 6:7-8 (MSG)
When I got to work today, I was feeling a little down about some situations I have to deal with. I had been thinking about those situations and seeking the Lord for answers. I know that if the Lord deals with a situation, the results will be much better than if I took matters in my own hands.
I walked in my office and was surprised to see a package of Pop-Tarts on my desk. It had a note attached to it that read:
It’s not the fancy brand, but I wanted to share with my fellow frosted strawberry Pop-Tart eater. My Co-Worker
It wasn’t a name on it so I walked through the office until I found the responsible party. She said; “I remembered when you used to put strawberry Pop-Tarts on my desk when I was pregnant, so I was just returning the favor.”
I thanked her with a note telling her; “I really needed that encouragement and the Lord used you to make my day better.”
What we have to realize is we sow seed every day and we’re going to have to reap the seeds we sow.
