For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. – Isaiah 9:6
I didn’t forget about Christmas, the day we’ve set aside to celebrate our Savior Jesus’ birthday. I was so very busy with my church, community and family that it was hard to find time to write anything. In fact, it looks like I haven’t published anything since mid-November.
I do pray that everyone had a blessed Christmas Day. I pray that all of my friends and family experienced the miracle of love and togetherness that usually is strongly embraced this time of year.
Even more, I pray that the “Christmas Spirit”, as we call it, will not be packed away with the Christmas decorations until next year. I pray the love we displayed and received will be a part of our everyday living. I believe this is what Jesus, the one we’re celebrating would want us to do.
In the meantime, I will resume my posting and I hope you all have a blessed start of the New Year 2020!
